The\u00a0Hotel Espa\u00f1a in Lanjar\u00f3n<\/strong>\u00a0has all the character and charm of its 100 years of history. It has been a meeting place for many famous people since 1917, the year the hotel opened. We are proud to have been the hotel of choice of the\u00a0Federico Garc\u00eda Lorca fa mily\u00a0<\/strong>who\u00a0holidayed\u00a0<\/strong>there for more than a decade as well as being a romantic refuge for the bullfighter\u00a0Manolete and his girlfriend Lupe Sino.<\/p>\n

After more 100 years of offering hospitality, the hotel now combines an armosphere of “old world” charm with the comforts and services expected of a modern hotel. It includes a\u00a0Bar – Restaurant<\/a>, a swimming pool and gardens, 33 rooms, terraces as well as facilities for hosting events and celebrations.<\/p>\n

Situated in Lanjar\u00f3n only 50 metres from the\u00a0Balneario de Lanjar\u00f3n<\/strong>\u00a0and close to the\u00a0Sierra Nevada National Park<\/strong>, in an environment of spectacular natural beauty. It\u00b4s only a half hour drive from Granada, the\u00a0Alpujarras<\/strong>\u00a0 and the\u00a0“Costa Tropical”<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Staff are happy to help\u00a0organise interesting excursions<\/strong>\u00a0to neighbouring spots including the \u00a0” Cuatro Vientos Winery<\/a>” \u00a0, in the heart of the Alpujarras, the\u00a0Witches circuit in\u00a0Soportujar<\/strong>, \u00a0the\u00a0Honey Museum<\/strong>, the\u00a0Water Museum<\/strong>, \u00a0and many more as well as adventure sports and guided treks, etc.<\/p>\n
