The Restaurant Café-Bar
Next to the old piano where Federico García Lorca and Manuel de Falla shared evenings of music and poetry our guest can now enjoy and sample the gastronomy of Granada. Our menu includes a wide variety of both modern and traditional dishes for example, the typical and succulent Alpujarran dish, exquisite monkfish cooked Andalusian-Arabic style or a sirloin cooked with honey and rosemary. The hotel has an ample wine list as well as homemade delicious desrts.
The decor including mirror and photos of the period in the Cafe-Bar recall the ambience of times past and bring to life those numerous guest who stayed there over the years. And guests today continue to come and enjoy our lively atmosphere and our tasty tapas and dishes.
All the above is enveloped and steeped in an atmosphere of history. The antique furniture from the 1917 is combined with photos and documents of our more famous visitors like Federico García Lorca and his family, Manuel de Falla and the bullfighter Manolete and his then girlfriend, Lupe Sino.
